PILATUS Processing Unit (PPU)
The PILATUS processing unit (PPU) complements PILATUS3 detector systems for synchrotron beamlines. Consisting of a high-end server, the PPU provides ample processing power and dedicated software packages, both of which help to eliminate bottlenecks in many of today’s beamline installations.
The fast PILATUS3 detectors are used in combination with the PPU to achieve superior data collection and processing performance.
Easy-to-use and highly efficient, the software packages are designed to meet the needs of high-performance beamlines equipped with PILATUS3 detectors. These packages offer instantaneous, highly reliable data transfer, lightening-fast data processing, and real-time data visualization and manipulation.
EIGER Processing Unit (EPU)
Consisting of a high-end server and powerful software, the EIGER Processing Unit (EPU) XL satisfies your needs for data management and processing at your beamline. Easy-to-use and highly efficient, the software packages offer instantaneous, highly reliable data transfer, fast data processing for single crystal diffraction data, plus data visualization and manipulation capabilities.
With a modern RHEL-based operating system (CentOS 7) and a pre-installed 10Gbit/s high-speed network card (SFP+), the EPU is well-suited to serve as an interface for beamline IT infrastructure. The installation of distributed control systems on the EPU is encouraged.

EIGER2 X 16M
This is the largest DECTRIS detector with 75 μm pixel size, providing the ideal capabilities and geometry for macromolecular crystallography experiments.
EIGER2 X 9M
This nine-mollion-pixels detector with unlimited external triggering and gating capabilites is an excellent allrounder for synchrotron applications that demand highest pixel resolution.
EIGER2 X 4M
This is an excellent tool for serial crystallography, small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), or ptychography. It can be operated in vacuum.
EIGER2 X CdTe 16M
This detector offers the larges active area of our EIGER2 seies with a resolution of more than 4k x 4k pixels - the perfect system for highest-quality X-Ray diffraction in a single shot.
EIGER2 X CdTe 9M
This detector combines a large active area, advanced external triggering, and gating capabilities. It is an excellent allrounder for synchrotron applications at high-energies.
