Celebrating five years at Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, RapiData is a practical course in macromolecular X-ray diffraction data collection, data processing and structure solution. RapiData aims to educate and train young scientists in data collection and processing methods at synchrotron beamlines, using state-of-the-art software and instrumentation. The course will comprise hands-on experiments at the SSRL beamlines, software tutorials, and lectures by experts in the field.
Andreas Förster, Application Scientist Crystallography, will discuss data collection and how to optimize data quality with Hybrid Photon Counting detectors, with a particular focus on what to think about when setting up a diffraction experiment.
