DECTRIS QUADRO® is a large-area, hybrid-pixel direct electron detector designed for electron diffraction and microscopy applications that demand true single-electron sensitivity. By counting individual electrons directly, it eliminates the readout noise and dark current that limit conventional cameras. This allows researchers to resolve intense diffraction peaks and faint diffuse scattering within the same frame at speeds up to 4,500 Hz.
